Box of Old Toys

This humble collection of vintage toys tells the story of childhood play in Stuart across the decades, a snapshot of the simple pleasures that delighted children whether their families came here to farm pineapples, work the docks, or build new lives after the railroad arrived.

About this object

Each toy, worn smooth by curious hands and imaginative adventures, represents the everyday magic that gave young Stuartites joy during the 20th century. Thanks to Judy Woodward's thoughtful donation, we can treasure these timeless playthings and remember the children who made them part of Stuart's living history.
