Collection of Small Books

These three modest volumes trace the growth of Stuart's institutions across three decades of the twentieth century.

About this object

From the 1966 hospital ball, a signature event that brought the community together to support Martin Memorial Hospital, to a professional directory documenting the legal minds shaping the county, and finally to a 1989 commemorative album celebrating Stuart's heritage, each book reveals how civic pride and organized community life strengthened this small Treasure Coast town. Together, they show how Stuart's citizens built enduring institutions and took time to remember and celebrate their shared story.
