Cartoon
This spirited campaign cartoon by renowned cartoonist Zack Mosely captures a moment when Jean Hupfel stepped forward to serve Martin County's future, a time when local civic participation shaped the growing community.
Mosely, whose artistic talent made him a fixture in Stuart's cultural life, brought his wit and pen to support his neighbor's political ambitions, blending humor with earnest encouragement for public service. The sketches and notes preserved here offer a glimpse into how personal connections and creative support wove through Stuart's mid-20th-century civic fabric.
