Schools and groups

Bring a class. Meet Stuart's history.

Your students can experience Stuart's history inside the original 1901 feed store. Our guided programs bring local stories to life through artifacts, photographs and the building itself. School visits are free, led by museum volunteers and planned around your class.

What a class morning looks like

  1. 01

    Arrive

Fifteen minutes on the building itself, outside on the corner, before anyone goes in. What was here, and why did it matter?

  2. 02

    Explore in smaller groups

Students divide into two groups, giving everyone time to get close to the artifacts and stories without waiting in line.

  3. 03

    Discover

Students examine real objects from Stuart's past and learn how to read the labels and think like a historian.

  4. 04

    Ask

We save time at the end for questions, and they are often the best part. Our volunteers love sharing the stories behind the objects.

Book a school or group visit

No commitment. A museum volunteer will follow up to confirm availability.

The Field Trip Fund

The museum is free. Getting here isn't.

Transportation shouldn't decide whether a child gets to experience their hometown's history. The Field Trip Fund helps Martin County schools cover the cost of getting here.
